Thrupenny Bits is a stylish, highly portable breastfeeding cushion. There's a removable inner sack, filled either with foam beads you'd expect to find in a beanbag or with hypo-allergenic buckwheat hulls. With a strap that ties at the top, it can be carried over your shoulder like a bag, or hung over the handles of a pram. In short it looks more like a fashionable bag or cushion giving you the freedom to breastfeed anywhere...

Then place baby on top facing you. The beans mould to the shape of your baby raising her up and giving support. The crescent shape of the bag hugs around your waist enabling baby to curl around you in a position conducive for breastfeeding or bottle feeding, thus freeing up at least one arm with which to carry on eating your lunch, drink your decaf latte or text from your mobile! | Polystyrene Vs Buckwheat The polystyrene beads are weightless making the bag extremely portable, however anyone who has ever owned a bean bag will know that polystyrene beads will flatten over time.
The Buckwheat option weighs approximately 2.5 Kilos so potentially not as portable as the poly filler. However this filler will retain its shape indefinitely and is more environmentally friendly.
